My cousin has got 99 percentile and there are 1800 more such candidates. It depends on how many can get accomodated.

last yr (2010) cbse aipmt merit list was between 450 (93.75%) -361(75.2%), i.e.cutoff was 361 marks (75.2%), waitlist was from 361 to 336 (70%), this year it may go up or down, people say this year the aipmt mains paper was more difficult so the cutoff can go lower but we don.t know, I am told candidates in waitlist are also accommodated in various colleges so you have a good chance overall.
