GATE 2013 Results has been declared today i.e. 15th March, 2013. Gate 2013 examination was conducted on 20 January, 2013 online and on 10 February, 2013 offline.

A total of 12, 00,728 candidates registered for GATE 2013 and 9, 84,855 candidates
(82.02%) appeared for the exam, of which 1, 36,699 (13.88%) have qualified GATE 2013. Women candidates comprised 39.75% of the total registrants while Men candidates comprised 60.25%.

GATE 2013 Qualified Student Distribution:

GATE is not only for candidates seeking admission in M. Tech. being offered at the IITs & IIScs., but also helps them to get jobs in PSU. Fifteen Public Sector Units (PSUs) have signed an MoU with IIT Bombay to receive the official GATE 2013 results across various papers for employment screening purposes. Consulting/ IT Consulting
SPJIMR witnessed a splurge in the offers coming from consulting companies. 22% of the

Marketing and Operations
SPJIMR maintained its niche in FMCG hiring. This year witness the top FMCG companies

were doled out offers by the FMCG sector Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain roles were made by FMCG majors that included

Lateral hires were picked up by HUL, GSK CH etc.
Telecom roles were offered to students by Bharti Airtel and Vodafone.
Niche roles mapping across other sectors were also offered by Ranbaxy, 3M, Cummins,
Philips, Raymonds, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Asian Heart Institute etc.
Procurement, Inventoryand Product Life Cycle roles were offered by A-list manufacturing

Indian institute of Technology, Bombay conducted GATE 2013 exam. The three hour test in 21 papers was conducted in many centers across the country on January 20, 2013 and February 10, 2013.
